Chris is a Principal Consultant at Noise Consultants and joined the company in 2017

Chris is experienced in undertaking noise assessments as standalone or as part of larger multidisciplinary and EIA projects across a variety of sectors such as; MoD, road and rail transportation; residential development; industrial development, aviation and nuclear power.

Chris has expertise in environmental noise modelling and has developed industrial, road traffic and rail noise models for large-scale noise mapping projects. Chris has published a paper on the validity of the methodology in BS 4142:2014 for applying a penalty to noise sources containing more multiple characteristic features. Chris also has experience in airspace design projects and has been involved in the analysis of noise impacts for a number of UK airports.

We have worked with the team at Noise Consultants for many years and have always found them to be knowledgeable, professional, and responsive to our needs. We can rely on them to deliver high quality noise impact assessments and to devise noise mitigation schemes that are practical and cost-effective.
