David Sproston

BSc (Hons) MIOA MCIEH

David is a Associate Director at Noise Consultants and has more than 15 years' experience in the measurement, calculation and assessment of environmental noise across a range of sectors

David is a Asspcoate Director  at Noise Consultants and joined the company in 2022. David has appeared as an expert witness at Public Inquiries and has extensive experience in the modelling and assessment of construction noise, road traffic noise and mineral extraction sites. He has experience in building acoustics and has worked with architects and designers, and has also been part of delivering sound insulation and acoustics testing on a wide range of projects across the UK.

David is a member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and the Institute of Acoustics. He also sits on the publications committee of the IoA.

Prior to joining NCL, David has held positions at Hepworth Acoustics and Miller Goodall.

Condition Discharge - Land off Newmarket Road, Cambridge

Noise Consultants undertook works required to assist in the discharging of a noise condition as part of a reserved matters application associated with an outline planning permission for 1,300 homes in Cambridge.
